Shakespearean-trained, Katina found that her talents were not limited to iambic pentameter and leaped right into stand-up comedy, fulfilling her true passion of making other people laugh. You can see Katina perform all over NY, CA, PA, NJ, and VA. She is a talented stand-up comedian, with a clean act, perfect for any party or office event. (Hire me.) Katina has also served as the warm-up comedienne for two of television's top daytime talk shows. Katina trained with the UCB Theatre and found herself in many sketch and improv groups because of it including Jambalaya, The Kihckercast Project, and The Pearl Brunswick. She was a member of ITTV and The Social Affair and appeared in The New York Fringe Festival 2006. She is the writer and performer of her own one-person show, Italian Cookies: A Recipe of Love and Anxiety, and is the co-creator of Mending your Life with Rita and Wilma. She is also co-host of the popular Singles Show in which she plays the lovable Sparkle Montgomery. Currently a magazine editor, she holds a B.A. from Loyola Marymount and a Master's from New York University. She performs regularly at the Magnet Theatre and with Blue Man Group. Previous credits include The Odd Couple, Into the Woods, Noises Off and The Vagina Monologues as well as featured appearances on Late Night With Conan O'Brien and the film Knots.
